We were told that with all the extra painting and flooring we were having done throughout the house, plus the custom office cabinets we were having put in that it would take at least 10-11 days to complete, but they managed to pull it all off in 7! Our experience with 7 Day Kitchens was phenomenal. When we initially requested a quote, Barry (the business owner) reached out to us directly and was available via phone call or text pretty much anytime we needed him throughout our process of gathering estimates. Once we selected 7 Day, Barry and Michael (designer) had multiple meetings with us for design and product selection. The meetings made it easy to understand our options and how each decision impacted the end result and cost. They worked around our schedule and were accommodating and fully communicative throughout this part of the process as well. When the job started, Jason (project manager) was a true delight to have in our house every day. We chose to rent a place to stay during the renovation and we felt fully comfortable with Jason running everything in our house. He called or texted anytime he had an issue and there was no major issues that him and the team couldn’t find a solution for. To wrap things up, Barry did a walk through and helped us identify what things needed to be touched up before he would accept that the job was finished and Jason worked around our schedule to execute the remaining punch list. We are over 2 months out from our full kitchen renovation with 7-Day Kitchens, and we are 100% happy with the workmanship, customer service, and the final product we received. From the start, Barry was receptive to our needs and worked hard to make sure we had a new kitchen that would meet our needs and fit within our budget. Because our job was a little more extensive, he did say it would take 10-14 days; other quotes that we received estimated 90 days for the same project. That alone might have been enough to make us go with 7-Day Kitchens, but then his quote was also reasonable and fair. I’d be lying if I said we weren’t a little worried that his promises seemed too good to be true; but those worries were soon put to rest. After we decided to move forward with the project, we met with his kitchen designer, mike. He spent several hours with us, listening to our ideas and asking us questions to help him design the perfect kitchen for us. His first rendering was just what we asked for; but after meeting with us again, he gave us some ideas to make adjustments and create an even better kitchen than we had imagined. Even when we had several tweaks in the next few weeks, he was always available and willing to do whatever we asked to make it perfect. When I wanted a pull-out utensil drawer, he made it work… and the same was true when I asked for extra storage in my island & peninsula and a custom casing for my refrigerator. Whatever we asked for, Mike tried to make it happen. Tiffany, the interior designer, helped us make countertop selections and pick out the hardware for our cabinetry; I couldn’t be happier with the choices we made.. As the work began on the project, we were even more impressed with 7-Day Kitchens. Jason and Larry were on site daily, making sure that everything ran smoothly. I’m not sure how he does it, every subcontractor that Barry sent to our house was a master at their trade: skilled, efficient, and professional. Their attention to detail and their commitment to our satisfaction was obvious in the way they worked and is evident in the final product as well. We had several small changes during the actual renovation, and they always accommodated our requests. Despite several unanticipated issues found during demolition, they did what they needed to do to make sure we were finished on time – never skimping on quality or workmanship. And just as promised, our renovation was complete in 12 days – and slightly under budget (does that ever happen with a contractor???) In the weeks after our renovation, we’ve continued to be impressed with their customer service. When a cabinet door wasn’t completely square, Barry sent someone out to make adjustments to it; when that didn’t work, he ordered a new door and had it installed within a week. We’ve had a couple of other small issues, but each one has been answered quickly and to our complete satisfaction. In the months since our renovation, I’ve recommended them to several friends and family members who are considering a renovation. Our 90s kitchen, once dated, small and dark, is now beautiful, bright, open and spacious. He walked us through the process from day 1 to day 7 and it made so much sense. He even prepared a written estimate during the first meeting. We did a lot of researching before deciding what company we wanted to go with for our complete kitchen remodel, and we are SO glad we went with 7 Day Kitchens! Our old kitchen was very dated and felt like a dark, enclosed dungeon. Now it’s bright, modern, open, and so BEAUTIFUL!! It has completely changed the feel of our entire home in the best way possible. We had a great experience with the whole process from start to finish. Barry is very personable and knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions we had. Tiffany and Michael, our design team, took the time to really listen to our vision and drew up several options for us to see before making any final decisions. It really helped to visualize how everything would come together in making our limited space much more functional and beautiful. Going to see all the different quartz slabs in person and picking out the materials was so much fun! And Jason and his team knocked it out of the park in bringing it all to life! He was the glue that held the project together, and we came to really trust his eye for design, functionality, and his craftsmanship. A few details looked better on paper than what would’ve been functional for our family (like countertop height), but whenever anything came up that he thought could be made a little better, he’d contact us and show us the options before moving forward. He was great to work with and did an amazing job orchestrating all the different contractors going in and out of our home. With 3 young kids, we didn’t want to have to have to live in the chaos of construction/go without a kitchen for a whole month (or more). So we love the way Barry has set up the company—it’s like a well oiled machine, the process is quick without sacrificing the quality of work. The first day of demo, the team gutted the kitchen, replaced all the flooring, and installed several cabinets. It was amazing to watch the transformation as the week went on, and even more amazing to move back into a completely new kitchen. We are absolutely in love!
